The JAG Advantage
The JAG Advantage gives students the Advantage in becoming college, career and workforce ready before graduating High School. JAG delivers in school and community based models, blended with project-based learning, trauma-informed care, and employer engagement opportunities to help young people address and cope with challenges they face outside of school, learn core life and work readiness skills, and build a network for future success.

Project-Based Learning approach is utilized for instruction in the JAG classroom. JAG students are given opportunities to learn and practice new skills through leadership, career exploration, and community service activities. PBL projects reinforce critical workplace skills including communication, collaboration, critical thinking, problem solving, and teamwork.
Trauma-Informed Care is our approach to meeting young people where they are, and helping them to move forward. The JAG Specialist serving as teacher, mentor, coach, and advisor, works with each participant to address any school-related challenges, guide them through their career and college exploration, and empower them to take on their biggest goals.
Employer Engagement and Workforce Development utilizes Employers to bring career opportunities to life in and outside of the classroom for JAG students, giving them hands-on career exploration and face to face interaction with a network of employer representatives who are excited to share their career stories.
